*אור בתוך השבר: יוזמת בית חב"ד בזירת האסון ברחביה*

תושבי שכונת רחביה עדיין מנסים לעכל את האסון הקשה שאירע אתמול בשכונה, שבו נהרג בנימין לויט ז"ל כתוצאה מקריסת מרפסת, וכן נפצעו אשתו ואנשים נוספים.
התחושות בשכונה קשות, והלם רב שורר בקרב המכרים והשכנים.

הבוקר, מתוך השברים והכאב העמוק, הגיע למקום שליח חב"ד בשכונה *הרב ישראל גולדברג* והקים דוכן מיוחד של מצוות וחיזוק, ממש בנקודה שבה אירע האסון.
הדוכן הוקם לעילוי נשמתו של המנוח ולרפואתם המהירה של רעייתו ויתר הפצועים.

עוברי אורח, שכנים ומכרים עצרו ליד הדוכן בעיניים דומעות, הניחו תפילין, וקיבלו ערכות של נרות שבת קודש.
כמו כן חולקו במקום דפי משניות ללימוד משותף לעילוי נשמתו של המנוח, *בנימין בן צבי הלוי ז"ל* , לצד חלוקת דפי פרקי תהילים לתפילה לרפואתה השלמה של רעייתו ושל יתר הפצועים.

היוזמה המרגשת הזו נגעה עמוק בלבבות וזכתה להיענות רבה מצד עוברי האורח והשכנים, שעצרו בדוכן ולקחו חלק בלימוד ובתפילה. המראה בשטח הוכיח שדווקא ברגעים מאתגרים ומתוך השבר הגדול, עם ישראל יודע להתאחד, לתמוך זה בזה ולהרבות באור ובמעשים טובים לעילוי נשמתו של המנוח ולרפואתם של הפצועים.

אנו שולחים תנחומים כנים מעומק הלב למשפחת לויט השכולה, ומתפללים לרפואתם השלמה והמהירה של הרעייה ויתר הפצועים. בתפילה ובאמונה בקב"ה כי ימים אלו של בין המצרים יהפכו במהרה לששון ולשמחה, ונזכה לגאולה השלמה בביאת משיח צדקנו בקרוב ממש.

Light Amid the Tragedy: Chabad Initiative at the Site of the Rechavia Disaster

Residents of Jerusalem's Rechavia neighborhood are still struggling to come to terms with the tragic accident that occurred yesterday, in which Benjamin Levit, of blessed memory, was killed when a balcony collapsed. His wife and several others were also injured.

The atmosphere in the neighborhood remains heavy, with neighbors and friends deeply shaken by the tragedy.

This morning, in the midst of the devastation and pain, the neighborhood's Chabad emissary, Rabbi Yisrael Goldberg, arrived at the site and set up a special mitzvah and inspiration stand at the very location where the accident occurred.

The stand was established in memory of the deceased and dedicated to the speedy recovery of his wife and the other injured victims.

Passersby, neighbors, and friends stopped by with tears in their eyes, put on tefillin, and received Shabbat candle kits.

Mishnah study sheets were also distributed for communal learning in memory of Benjamin ben Tzvi HaLevi, of blessed memory, alongside chapters of Tehillim for prayers on behalf of the complete recovery of his wife and the other injured.

This moving initiative touched many hearts and received an overwhelming response from local residents and passersby, who stopped to participate in prayer and Torah study. The scene demonstrated that דווקא in moments of profound pain and tragedy, the Jewish people know how to unite, support one another, and increase acts of light and goodness in memory of the deceased and for the healing of those who were injured.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Levit family and pray for the complete and speedy recovery of his wife and all the injured. With faith and trust in Hashem, we pray that these days of the Three Weeks will soon be transformed into days of joy and celebration, and that we will merit the complete Redemption with the coming of Mashiach, speedily in our days. ... ראה עודראה פחות
